Here at Prisms Creations AU, we love hermit crabs! This site aims to help new and advanced crabbers with natural and nutritious foods. We also develop ideas and creations to advance the cause for captive bred hermit crabs!
We believe that all wild hermit crabs should stay in the wild, and all hermit crabs in the pet trade should be responsibly captive bred.
We pride ourselves in making fresh, healthy and nutritious foods that also disrupt the food waste stream. Wherever possible we use items that are not presentable to sell in supermarkets. We will use odd shaped, slightly blemished foods and vegetables to reduce waste. We only use the freshest possible produce, and would never use bruised or spoiled produce.
Another effort we make is to use as little plastic as possible, however some items this is unavoidable. When we cannot use compostable packaging, we will use 100% recyclable plastic.
