Fats and oils are an essential part of a healthy hermit crabs diet. However they are not to be relied on solely for nutrition. A natural diet for hermit crabs contains oils from seeds, coconuts and fatty meats they scavenge.

My hermit crabs love some oils a couple of times a week. A few drops is plenty for a few crabs.
